Indigo, Rome

Caberlon Caroppi Hospitality Design of Milan worked with the local Skopos distributor (Floorings & Fabrics) to rebrand a 5 star Boutique Hotel.

Originally called St Georges hotel,  it was transformed into an Indigo under IHG Franchise.  The selected fabrics were     delivered to the renowned Italian manufacturer Italpoltrone for make-up.

Brief:

The rooms were designed to each have individual character and personality reflecting a feel of the local neighbourhood.  Inspiration was taken from great High Renaissance Architect Donato Bramante and famous Baroque Artist Caravaggio.  60’s Italian icon, the legendary Fiat 500, was used to blend with the classical details.

Outcome:

The end result is a stunning mix of modern interiors sat along side the history and beauty of ancient Rome.

Skopos supplied the geometric design Chase from the Erddig & Elle collection in 3 colours for  throws and cushions.  The Geometric pattern of the Chase design fitted the ‘Contemporary/Classic’ brief perfectly.

Beau velvet and Alto Taffetta were provided in complimentary and contrasting colours.  Skopos also supplied 2 colours of Poise faux leather for the upholstered stools creating an interesting mix of textures and layers.
