Roundthorn Country House, Penrith
Roundthorne Country House is set in the beautiful surroundings of the Eden Valley and Lakeland Fells.
The owners of the hotel, Graham and Carren Carruthers have added self catering apartments which are located next to the house. The Mews @ Roundthorne are 5 self catering apartments boasting fully fitted high specification kitchens, dining areas and comfortable living areas.
Brief:
Interior Designers Encanto were asked to create a scheme so each apartment had its own unique character. A different colour selection was used in each bedroom and living area to create an exclusive look throughout all rooms.
Outcome:
Skopos supplied a wide selection of furnishings for 9 different schemes in total. Talavera from the Mila collection was used for throws and cushions in the Almond, Fig and Viridian colourways. Several different colours of Beau and Venus II velvets created a luxurious feel to curtains, bedding, headboards and cushions. A headboard in Tahoe Velvet added an opulent look to one bedroom scheme. Modern statement upholstery was achieved with Crib 5 backed fabrics from the Boulevard, Moritz and Chamonix Collections. Several shades of Felicity were used in most of the apartments along with a light and natural sheer from the Zephyr collection.
Skopos provided full service. The curtains, throws and cushions were made up by the Skopos sewing room. A full site measure and installation was completed by the Skopos fitting team.
